Ah, now that's a much more comfortable fit! So what if there's no color? My roots are in black and white, and even now that's what I prefer to draw, and to look at. So there.Yeah, another new design for Ace. The hood was getting in the way of his hair, and that solid black just made giant splotches on the pages. This is much more varied, easier to work with, and is truer to his original design, I think. You may also notice I finally cut the back of his hair. That whole spine thing has always looked silly, and has always been a problem, but I kept it because it's always been a part of his design. But I began to figure that I was the only one who cared, so... SNIP!

It does look very similar to the original design. As always, great stuff.
Thanks a bunch. Quite frankly, I don't know why you've put up with me through this whole period, but I'm really very grateful.
I'll be stepping up production now. My new site's finally starting to shape up as well, so there's something to look forward to.
Well, I've lost interest in some things I used to follow pretty religiously on the internet. However, I enjoy getting glimpses into you striving to improve as an artist right alongside the comic itself. I think quite a few webcomic "artists" stop giving a damn about improving fairly quickly. Not that I can really draw, myself, but...
Also, I enjoy your sense of humor, and look forward to the return of any of your articles on the new site (that is, whatever ones pass the "quality control" I think you referenced on Newtrul's last update).
