V1 C1 P6

Don't mind me; I'm still dicking around with the coloring. I think I'm starting to get the hang of it (right now I have some kind of Chugworth Academy thing going) but I've still got a lot to learn.

Anyway, I did most of this page at work, and a good half of it in one shift. This bodes well for the frequency of my updates from now on. As I said on the main site, the penciling is just about done, and this chapter's looking like it will end up being fifteen or sixteen pages, so now I can really get the ball rolling.

V1 C1 P5

My computer's been acting weird lately, most likely because I downloaded an obvious virus. I was looking for a keygen for Dreamweaver because paying $400 for things is one of my weaknesses, along with bullets and several diseases. God, it was so obvious. It even tried to install on to System32, but I said, "No no no, my friend. You will not make a fool of me this day," because that's how I talk. "...I'll install you to My Documents. Now I guess you'll think twice before trying to outsmart R Will!"

V1 C1 P4

I had figured this from the beginning, but the daily content thing isn't going to work. It distracts too much from the comic. That doesn't mean it's all I'll be doing, as I still hope to frequently update with other stuff, but piecing together crap in order to do so is lame. I'm up for requests.

I spent a lot of time dicking around with the color for this page, and I think it's an improvement, but I would appreciate feedback. I was stuck on what to do with the last panel for a while, but when all else fails, go for fucking goofy.

Richter Haywood: Final Design

I've been kinda strapped for ideas for this blog, which has been leading to missed updates. I should do some short comic strips or something.

Richter's changed quite a bit. Like in /Draft, he's not supposed to be taken seriously, but this time it's because of his personality, not because he's a dimwit. In an effort to separate him from his drama-llama persona from /Newtrul, I'm basing him somewhat off of The Comedian from Watchmen, and the button on his jacket is reminiscent of him, though its design is actually taken from Transmetropolitan.

I sort of based the whole outfit on his hat. Upon realizing that none of my characters wear hats, it seemed a logical step, but it came to serve a purpose. It allows Richter to keep his hair out of his face when fighting. In other words, he's a better fighter this time.
